The AndaSeat Phantom 4 Series introduces a new approach to ergonomic seating, designed to accommodate the natural movements people make during various activities such as working, gaming, and reading. Understanding that users rarely maintain the same sitting position for long periods, AndaSeat has crafted this seating platform to offer consistent support while allowing for certain movements without the need for constant manual adjustments.
A standout feature of the Phantom 4 chairs is the Dynamic Auto-Tracking Lumbar system. This system allows users to choose their preferred level of lumbar support from 15 locking positions across a 0–95 mm adjustment range. Once set, the lumbar support can swivel approximately 5 degrees to either side and tilt within a 25-degree forward-and-back range, maintaining contact as the user’s posture changes.
The chair’s design combines this responsive lumbar support with a seat made of 55 kg/m³ cold-cure foam, providing a stable base. Both the Phantom 4 and Phantom 4 Pro models enable up to 135 degrees of backrest recline and about 15 degrees of rocking, allowing users to adjust their overall seating position comfortably.
Differences between the two models lie in the level of manual adjustments available. The Phantom 4 features 2D armrests that can move forward-back and vertically, an adjustable memory-foam head pillow, and a butterfly tilt mechanism. The Phantom 4 Pro offers enhanced features including 3D 360-degree rotating armrests, additional adjustment ranges, and a multi-function tilt mechanism with tilt-lock functionality.
AndaSeat’s design philosophy for the Phantom 4 Series emphasizes providing a stable foundation while allowing selected components to adapt to the user’s movements. The goal is to create a seating solution that reflects how people naturally sit instead of expecting them to remain in a fixed posture throughout work or gaming sessions.
